Cyklokapron
Information
Cyklokapron is used to treat hemophilia to reduce or prevent hemorrhage and to reduce the need for replacement therapy during and following tooth extraction. When taking Cyklokapron, antifibrinolytics should be avoided to reduce the risk of ureteric obstruction. People with a previous history of thromboembolic disease may be at increased risk for venous or arterial throbosis.

Side Effects
Cyklokapron may cause nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. People taking Cyklokapron may also experience some changes in colour vision, where they should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Rapid intravenous injection may also cause dizziness and/or hypotension.
For patients who are to receive continuous treatment with Cyklokapron for longer than several days, an ophthalmological examination is advisable (including visual acuity, colour vision, eye-grounds, field of vision), before commencing treatment, and at regular intervals during treatment.
